We appreciate you may have questions that help you and your family plan for these future dates, we hope the following Frequently Asked Questions below will assist.

Q. When will my ballerina receive their recital tutu?

A. Recital tutus are handed out in class in Term 4 prior to recital. Princes receive their recital outfit at the same time

Q. How do I find out the exact time my Recital/Orientation will be on?

A. We will email your full recital timetable in September. We do not have times set yet.

Q. Are your Recitals Covid Safe?

A. Our recitals will absolutely comply with the current and most update to date Covid information. The wellbeing of our ballerinas, princes, families and staff as always, remain at the heart of everything we do.

Q. I don’t think my ballerina or prince will go back stage on her/his own, what do I do?

A. We require back stage parent helpers for each age group. Your teacher will hand out information in class about being a Parent Helper in Term 3. Also remember Term 4 is a long time away and our little ballerinas will be more confident and mature by this time, any separation anxiety they are experiencing now may not be an issue by the time recital comes.

Q. I am going to be away for Orientation, can my ballerina or prince still participate?

A. Yes! Whilst we definitely recommend all ballerinas and princes attend Orientation we understand it is not always possible. Closer to the time you just need to let your teacher know.

Q. Is Recital compulsory?

A. When you become a member of Tiny Tutus, you are automatically enrolled and part of our Recital. Our Recitals are a fabulous first performance experience, no make-up and GORGEOUS costume tutus. Recital truly is a magical experience that you’ll treasure forever.

We encourage all ballerinas and princes to take part but do understand if there are circumstances where you are unable to. Please let us know by the 30th April if you’d prefer your ballerina or prince not to take part. If you have any other concerns about your little one performing please talk to your wonderful class teacher or give us a call!
