Little Things by Australian singer and songwriter Michael Wilks Featuring Tiny Tutus
We are so tutu excited to announce that some of our Tiny Tutus ballerinas and their doting Dads star in the just released music video by Australian singer and songwriter Michael Wilks.
Michael heard about Tiny Tutu’s annual Daddy Daughter dance and decided to write a beautiful song for the Daddy Daughter Dance which will take place later this year.
Tiny Tutus Brings Disney Princess Magic To Australian Ballerinas
Today, Tiny Tutus announce an exciting collaboration with The Walt Disney Company Australia to coincide with World Tutu Day, which will see the first ever Disney Princess Dance Program roll out across the nation.
The Disney Princess Dance Program will be brought to life each week in the Tiny Tutus dance studios, with each Disney Princess and their values celebrated through stories, dance, music and movement.
Just the Right Shoe
As a Mummy or Daddy with an aspiring dancer, nothing is more exciting for both of you than getting your first tutu and new pair of ballet slippers!Did you know that ballet slippers are made the same, not with a right and left! When your new pair of ballet slippers arrives, it’s a good idea to write ‘R’ on the shoe intended for the right foot and ‘L’ for the left. Identifying the right and left shoes from the beginning helps with fit and comfort as our Tiny Tutus leather ballet slippers stretch and mould to your ballerina’s individual feet.
Ballet Promotes Social Development in Preschool Children
Children, from a very young age are drawn to music. It’s a beautiful thing to watch babies, toddlers and preschool children being to move and dance as soon as they hear a beat.
The physical benefits of dance are well-known and easy to see – but ballet also brings magical social and emotional benefits. Preschool children will learn social skills such as cooperation and peer interaction as well as building self-esteem when they are involved in early childhood appropriate ballet experiences.
Newcastle Herald: Tiny dancers teach dad a few new tricks
THEY may not have gotten all the steps right but they certainly got the pointe. Thirty-six dads from across Newcastle took to the stage with their daughters at the Lake Macquarie Performing Arts Centre on Saturday for the Daddy Daughter Dance.
The event, run by Newcastle-based Tiny Tutus, began here in 2014 and was this year held in every state and territory except Tasmania, with 289 dads taking part across the country.
